Day01 Arrive New Delhi

Upon arrival to New Delhi, our tour guide will welcome you at the airport and transport you to the hotel. After check in feel free to enjoy the rest of the day on your own.

Day02 New Delhi

After breakfast we will proceed on a guided tour to New Delhi, we will visit Qutub Minar. Qutub Minar in Delhi is a world heritage site, build in 1192 and 72 meters in height and the soaring conical tower is an exquisite Indo Islamic Afghan architecture. The Iron Pillar of Delhi is a nearly 24-ft. iron pillar that is located in the Quwwat-ul Mosque. It weighs more than 6 tons and is made of 98% wrought iron. Continue on to Embassy area, the Government buildings (1921-1930) and Connaught Place. This is the heart and main shopping district of the capital. Later, cross the city and into the walled gates of the Old city and then visit the Jamma Mosque. This was built by more than 5000 artisans under Wazir Saadullah Khan, designed by Ustad Khalil and took 6 years to complete. We will then stop at Chandni Chowk. One of the oldest market in Old Delhi. It’s an important historical site that carried all kind of goods and food. Lastly, we will visit Raj Ghat (King’s Court).

Day03 New Delhi– Jaipur

After breakfast we will depart to Jaipur. After check in at Jaipur Hotel in the afternoon we will visit Biria Temple. This temple was built in 1988 purely out of white marble. The edifice of the Birla Temple is an amalgam of ancient Hindu architecture styles and modern design. The walls of the temple are embellished with intricate carvings of Gods and Goddesses and words of wisdom from the Puranas and Upanishads. The pictures of historical achievers, legends, philosophers and spiritual saints like Socrates.

Day04 Jaipur

After breakfast we will depart for Amber Fort. Built by Raja Man Singh, the fort, which is also spelt as Amer fort, is a scenic marvel. It stands on top of an easily scalable mountain, which is situated right next to the beautiful Maota Lake. Sheesh Mahal is one of the most exciting parts of this fort. It is adorned with thousands of mirror tiles as well as colored glasses on its wall as well as on ceiling. The most beautiful structure in the Amber Fort is Jai Mandir .It is double floored and covered with white marble pavilion which overlooks the third courtyard garden. Then a visit to Hawa Mahal, a five-storied structure of pink sandstone with semi-Octagonal and delicately honey combed windows overlooking the main street of the old city. In the afternoon, we will proceed to City Palace located towards the northeast side of central Jaipur. Then Udaipur Solar Observatory, known to be the best solar observing site in Asia and also one of the few observatories in the world situated on land. You may want to experience Heena body arts and saree draping demonstration.

Day05 Jaipur – Agra

Enjoy breakfast then we drive to Agra stopping at deserted capital city of Fatehpur Sikri. It is listed on the World Heritage Sites and rank among the most visited spots in India. Fatehpur Sikri is considered as one of the architectural legacies of Emperor Akbar. It consists of beautiful palaces, halls, and mosques. Continue on to Agra we will check into hotel in the evening. Afterwards we will visit Mehtab Bagh. It’s a garden complex in Agra and overlooks the Agra fort. The Yamuna River is on its opposite side. It is one of the most scenic spots in Agra and is worth a visit for its sheer natural beauty.

Day06 Agra - New Delhi

We will rise early this morning and catch sunrise at Taj Mahal. In the morning the sunlight turns the dome of the temple to a soft and golden color of the white marble building. Then we will return back to hotel for breakfast. Afterwards we will visit Agra Fort which was built in the year of 1573 under Akbar. He is one of the greatest Mughai Emperors. It took over 4000 workers and eight years to complete this fort. Today Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and attracts many tourists from all over the world. Stay in New Delhi tonight.

Day07 New Delhi - Colombo (By Air, 4 Hrs)

After breakfast, we will take you to the airport in New Delhi, and you will fly to Colombo, Sri Lanka's capital. Once you arrive and get taken to the hotel, feel free to enjoy the evening at your own pace.

Day08 Colombo- Pinnawala - Sigiriya(By Car, 4 Hrs, 132 Km)

After breakfast, we will depart for Pinnawala, where you can get very close to elephants from the wild at the distinctive Elephant Orphanage. After eating lunch, we will go to the popular ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya, a cultural icon in Sri Lanka. After we arrive and check in at the hotel, enjoy the rest of the day on your own.

Day09 Sigiriya Sightseeing

After our hotel breakfast, we will take a trip to Sigiriya to see the famous Lion Rock. You will get to closely observe a citadel that was built by King Kashyapa in the 5th century and discovered in 1907. It will be a steep climb up, but the view from the top is unmistakably impressive.

Day10 Sigiriya – Anuradhapura

After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, famous for its 2nd-century Buddha images and rock paintings. Next, we will head to the well-preserved ruins of Ceylon in Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and ancient capital of Sri Lanka. In the afternoon, we will tour more of Anuradhapura, where we will also get to see the Abayagiri complex.

Day11 Anuradhapura - Matale - Kandy(By Car, Approx. 3 Hrs, 140 Km)

After breakfast, we will depart for Kandy. On the way, we will visit a spice garden in Matale, and here you can learn about spices, taste an herbal brew, observe a Cookery Demonstration, and get an Ayurveda massage if there is enough time. When we arrive in Kandy later, have a short rest after checking in at the hotel. In the evening, we will watch a remarkable cultural dance performance and a fire eating display.

Day12 Kandy Sightseeing

After breakfast, you get to see the morning puja (chanting) ceremony at the Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Tooth). Here, a sacred relic of the tooth of Buddha is preserved. Next, we will see the Royal Palace complex and council chamber at the National Museum of Kandy. Following that, we will visit the Royal Botanical Garden at Peradeniya. Then, we will visit a local gem museum and lapidary, which is renowned for its Ceylon blue sapphire and handicrafts. In the evening, enjoy some free time on your own walking around the pretty city.

Day13 Kandy – Colombo Airport- Departure

After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and take you to Colombo International Airport, and you will fly back to home.
