Day01 Arrival-Kathmandu, Nepal

Upon arrival in Kathmandu,Nepal our tour guide will welcome you and transport you to the hotel. After check in the hotel enjoy a free day on your own.

Day02 Kathmandu

After breakfast we will depart to Pashupatinath Temple. This is one of the most sacred Hindu temples of Nepal. Pashupatinath Temple is located on both banks of Bagmati River on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu. This is the most important temple dedicated to god Shiva. Every year this temple attracts hundreds of elderly followers of Hinduism. Next, visit to Boudhanath a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next we will visit Swoyambhunath the most ancient and holy shrines in Kathmandu Valley. Its origin dated back to 5th century. Our last visit will be Kathmandu Dubar Square. It’s best known for attraction in old town of Kathmandu in front of the former royal palace. It has classic architectures and over 50 temples and courtyard.We will have Nepalese cuisine at dinner.

Day03 Kathmandu - Patan - Bhaktapur – Kathmandu

After breakfast get ready for an amazing trip to Patan. Patan is a city of 55 major temples, 136 Buddhist monasteries, fine metal works, and countless festivals. Patan takes pride in producing great Thanka painters in the country. In the recent years Putan has become favorite spot for Dipolmats. Patan has numerous café, pubs, and shops. Next stop at Bhaktapur, known for museum of medieval art and architecture with many sculptures, wood carving and pagoda temples.

Day04 Kathmandu

After breakfast we will head out to old villages Kritipur (famed town). Kirtipur is one of the oldest settlements in the Kathmandu Valley. Bungamati and Khokana - classical medieval village which lies across the Bagamati River from Chobar, dominated by huge Shikhara, Rato Machhindranath temple of its major attraction. On our way to Dakshinkali temple the drive up your will see the streets filled with shops sell various of goods and live animals. The Dakshinkali temple is located just a few kilometers outside of the city but the place is highly recommended for all those who want to visit religious places. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali whom people worship a lot in the country. In the temple, there is ritual of animal sacrifices and it’s believed that people who dedicated animals for sacrificing get their wishes fulfilled. Farewell dinner buffet at the hotel.

Day05 Kathmandu-Paro-Thimphu

Wake up and have some breakfast, then we will take you to the airport. You will fly to Bhutan, and we will head to the capital city of Thimphu. After eating at a local restaurant, we will do some sightseeing at the Memorial Chorten of Jingme Dorji Wangchuk. Then drive to Motithang for a scenic view of Thimphu. Next visit the National Zoo to see takin, the intriguing national animal of Bhutan. Enjoy wonderful Bhutanese cuisine for dinner.

Day06 Thimphu-Punakha

After breakfast at the hotel, we will leave the high altitudes and head for the low Punakha Valley. Here you can hike through the rice paddies and visit local villages on the way to the Chimi Lhakhang. We will also see the Nalanda Monastery & Buddhist Institute overlooking the village of Thinleygang, and here you can watch and meet contemporary Buddhist teachers and monks.

Day07 Punakha-Paro

Today after breakfast, we will visit the Punakha Dzong, where Father River (Pho Chhu) meets Mother River (Mo Chhu). The Dzong was the national capital for 300 years, so it contains an abundance of cultural and religious artifacts. After this stop, we will drive to Paro. Along the way, you can enjoy magnificent mountain views and observe village life. Lunch at Dochula Pass. If the weather is good, we will visit some of the highest mountains in the eastern Himalayas, and we will arrive in Paro in the late afternoon.

Day08 Paro Sightseeing

After breakfast, we will see the Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest). This was built in the 1600s on the side of a 1000-foot cliff. If there is enough time after this, we will see Dungtse Lhakhang. The evening is yours for dinner and exploring or relaxing.

Day09 Paro-Home

After breakfast, you will be driven to Paro Internation Airport for your return flight.
