Did Best of Japan 7 days during Thanksgiving 2018. Good tour good price good weather. Guide Steve was hilarious. Only complaint is food was only good first day and last day. Other traditional Japanese included meals were terrible and I'm Asian. Had to pay extra for sashimi and Kobe beef on two nights

Our guide gave us an amazing "local" experience we would never have ventured to do on our own. As an added bonus, I mentioned that we had a person in our group who was celebrating a birthday that day, and she helped us acknowledge that over lunch. I have done many tours... I found our guide very informative and knowledgeable.

Javier is a great tour guide and provided us with an abundance of information. His enthusiasm and respect for the history shows and it was great from start to finish. To be honest, I'm not a real history buff - but Javier always made it engaging and was eager to answer any questions I had. We developed a real nice rapport with him and I'm sure that if we were living there, we'd become better friends. Visited December 2016

We were looking forward to visiting Japan because we had heard so much about how historic and beautiful it was. Our guide Javier was amazing. The sites he took us to and the insights that he shared gave us a great perspective on the history, philosophy, and religions of the area. I highly recommend him if you plan to visit Kyoto. Our tour guide was Miki and she was a pleasure. As promised in the tour she met us at our hotel and walked us to the train station, giving us some highlights about Tokyo on the way. She was fabulous. Her English is excellent, she told us a lot about each place we went to and knew the answer to all our questions. I highly recommend this tour and Miki if you can get her.
