we chose this group for lhasa. I would give them 10stars. I sent the balance for our trip via bank transfer prior to the trip, after feeling a connection to them through our numerous emails prior.Excellent, excellent, excellent- what can I say except heart broken to leave them. Our guide Sonam was so special, extremely knowledgeable, with great english.our driver Dorjee was excellent, It was all tibetan, as much as possibly able, including hotels, eating out, true tibetan experience. My travelling companion was unfortunately very ill, and admitted to hospital, but our guide, driver and of course Dhonhup went out of their way to help us,and keep us safe. it meant changing our whole itinerary and heading back to lhasa. But they just sorted it out for us, without any complaints. They went far beyond their call of duty in looking after us, both in physically helping us, but also supporting us emotionally, in what was a very emotional trip. i love these people, and their wonderful place and im already planning my return to do the original arranged trip Having met other guides and spoken to other people there, its obvious these guides are most definitely the best tour group, and recognized as being such. they are a must for anyone travelling to the area But make sure you do your reading beforehand and get very good insurance to cover for trips being cancelled due to borders suddenly being closed, earthquakes etc

Giving reviews is not my thing but if you consider booking a tour in tibet, this is the agency to book it with!Prior to the trip, the communication was very quick (within 24h response to questions) and i got all the help needed. These guys are simply the best! Great knowledge about china and culture, safety on the road and during trekking and help on anything that we could think of (from restaurants to massages to where to buy best souvenirs and prices for that). Another thing i liked was that my fellow travelers were all solo travelers like myself, so nice mix of people from over the world and age. I am not used to doing group tours but this one was above expectations.
