Yuhliu Geopark is a cape in Wanli District, New Taipei. Many visitors are attracted to this park's unique geological wonders, from wave-carved rocks to interesting creations of erosion. The landscape contains some of the most popular sights in the world, and rock formations including its distinctive "hoodoo stones" are found throughout the park. The coast is over 1,700 m long, and its sandstone and shale creations have developed from the forces of the wind and the water over thousands of years. Many features have been named based on what they resemble, such as Fairy's Shoe, Candle Rock, Japanese Geisha, and Queen's Head. The distance from the entrance to the end of the cape is 1.7 km, and the widest area in between is less than 300 m. This spectacular park is truly worth a visit for the fascinating sights you will see along the beautiful ocean.
