Located in Amer, a 4 square kilometer town 11 kilometers from the state capital of Jaipur in Rajasthan is the Amer Fort. The Amer Fort is located high up in the hills and is a primary tourist spot around the Jaipur Area. Surrounded by ramparts, the awe-inspiring fortress is perched on top of the hill near the Maota Lake and it becomes even more alluring while approaching it.
