The Master of Nets Garden in Suzhou is upheld as one of the finest gardens in all of China, and perhaps in all the world. Situated in Gusu District (formerly Canglang Disctrict-Dai Cheng Qiao Road, No. 11 Kuo Jia Tou Xiang), this garden synthesizes art, nature and architecture into unique metaphysical masterpieces, through the skilled templates set forth in the original design. The Master of Nets Garden comprises three sections: residential spaces, main garden, and inner garden. In the main, central garden is a large pond, surrounded by pathways and an assortment of buildings, poetically named , such as the Ribbon Washing Pavilion (Zhouying Shuige) and the Pavillion for the Advent of Moon and Wind (Yuedao Fenglai Ting). Though there are such a number of buildings throughout the garden, they are placed so that there is never a sense of crowding, but rather, always a surprising feeling of spaciousness.
